Job Description:
Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk / Coventry / £28-30k
I am recruiting a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk for a highly recognised business based in Coventry. This is an opportunity to join a unique business who are highly acquisitive with forward thinking Directors who are constantly looking to push the business forward! Currently the business are using Sage but in the near future they are looking to move to a new system (TBC).
This role will be suitable for people who are currently in a Supervisor / Team Leader role OR those who unofficially do this but don’t hold that title!
Working as part of a small finance team, you’ll be mainly responsible for leading the Purchase Ledger team (2 PL Clerks). The duties noted below give a taster as to what the business are looking for but alongside the experience, personality is really important for the business!
Duties Will Include
*Registering & processing invoices
*Raising payments on the online banking system
*Matching invoices off against payments
*Adding on new suppliers
*Monitoring / reviewing the integrity of the individual purchase ledger accounts and supplier account reconciliations
*Supporting the Finance Manager with their month-end activity
*Supervising and being a senior go-to for the 2 PL Clerks in the team
