Your Role:
As a CNC Machinist (Milling), you will:
*Manufacture components according to production schedules and technical drawings.
*Ensure production priorities and deadlines are achieved to meet customer requirements.
*Solve problems as they arise and maintain high-quality standards.
*Provide training, demonstrations, and supervision to trainees if required.
*Support machine builds and ensure health & safety compliance at all times.
What You Need:
Qualifications:
*GCSE or NVQ Level 3 (Skilled Status, time-served)
*Willingness to study further (NVQ Level 4 or higher)
Skills & Experience:
*Manual milling and CNC machining (e.g., horizontal borers, machining centres)
*Ability to write and troubleshoot CNC programs (Fanuc & Heidenhain control systems)
*Competent in reading engineering drawings and working to precise specifications
*Strong attendance, timekeeping, and attention to detail
Personal Attributes:
*Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize daily tasks
*Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
*Flexible, able to work under pressure, and adaptable to business needs
*Strong housekeeping and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
*Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
