Job Description:
My client, one of the fastest growing professional services businesses in the North West, are currently looking for an M&A Analyst to join their team. This role will be hybrid, and can be based in either Liverpool or Manchester.
This M&A Analyst role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the full end-to-end execution of transactions, working closely with the Director of M&A. You will be responsible for identifying new targets, assessing opportunities on a commercial and strategic level, and preparing recommendations for the executive team. Your excellent negotiation skills will be utilised in preparing Heads of Terms and conducting negotiations on legal contracts. This role offers a chance to build strong internal and external networks, contributing significantly to business objectives.
What you’ll do:
*Identify new targets in existing or complementary spaces
*Prepare high-level modelling to support value creation opportunities and offer analysis
*Support in the negotiation and preparation of Heads of Terms
*Oversee detailed financial modelling prepared by broader Project Finance team
*Work with external advisors and internal teams to perform due diligence on transactions
*Conduct negotiations on legal contracts; working with external law firms as required
*Prepare approval papers for private equity Investment Committee

*ACA qualified
*Bright, energetic and ambitious
*Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities
*Excellent negotiation skills
*Ability to oversee detailed financial modelling
*Experience in conducting due diligence on transactions
