Job Title: Physiotherapist
Grade: Band 6
Department: Physiotherapist
Location: Sunderland Royal Hospital/ South Tyneside District Hospital
Trust: South Tyneside/Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday
Pay rate: £20.15

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join their team in the Physiotherapist department. This is an exciting opportunity whereby the successful candidate will use their expertise to provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice for both routine and complex cases.

Main duties of the job
*Manage an independent caseload, incorporating both routine and complex presentations.
*Deliver evidence-based, person-centered physiotherapy care.
*Lead on clinical practice improvements and service development projects.
*Supervise and mentor unqualified staff, newly qualified physiotherapists, and students.
*Participate in emergency on-call and a 7-day working pattern.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
*Qualifications: BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and HCPC registration.
*Experience: Comprehensive post-graduate experience in medicine/surgery and evidence of CPD.
*Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, communication, organisational, and IT skills.
*Attitude: A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic professional with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
