Job Description:
An interesting fixed term contract has arisen at a healthcare business for an experienced accountant to join the finance business partnering team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this Senior Finance Business Partner role is responsible for the financial reporting of two divisions, delivering day-to-day management of the organisation’s commercial relationship with its partners. The post acts as an intermediary between central finance and clinical operations to deliver financial performance improvements, quality business cases, new service enhancement pricing, and other business support services. It is a key role within the team, with a high amount of responsibility, and you and your team of two will regularly spend time with the business, gathering financial and operational intelligence, produce monthly management information and variance analysis for your service lines for reporting to the CFO, and enabling your production of quarterly re-forecasts and annual budgets.
You should be a qualified accountant with significant experience of finance business partnering and the day-to-day management of a team. Preferably, you will have experience of working within healthcare, or an equivalent regulated environment. Owing to the broad range of contacts you will be liaising with, you will need first rate communication skills t be able to rapidly build effective working relationships. Additionally, you will require the ability to assimilate and analyse large amounts of data quickly and to this end, strong Excel skills and an eye for detail will be helpful.
