My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to join near Grangemouth. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
*Manage and evaluate machine and labour resources to ensure continuous productivity and minimal downtime
*Planning and organising production schedules
*Distribute manpower effectively
*Ensure production is cost effective, ran as efficiently as possible and minimise overtime spend
*Ensure that Team Leaders are fulfilling the Roles and Responsibilities expected of them
*Overseeing the production process, ensuring adherence to required process and quality controls
*Reviewing departments performance against Action Plans and KPI’s
*Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
*Ensure the shop floor is kept up to date on factory performance and news relevant to the business
Experience required:
*5+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing management role
*Sound knowledge, understanding and examples of implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methods
*Implement a culture of continuous improvement, always seeking out opportunities to do things better
*Excellent project management skills
*The ability to lead, motivate and influence large multi-functional teams
*Successful track record of training employees in productivity and safety
*Successful implementation of an effective succession planning program
