Job Description:

Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking for a Plumber/Maintenance Technician to join them on a permanent basis.
The Job you’ll do
*Always upholding safe working practices and contributing to improvements.
*Interaction with SAP to access works orders.
*Prioritise work in compliance with the priority process, at the team leader’s discretion.
*Accurate recording of times spent on tasks, and feedback into SAP / Shift report.
*Carrying out maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on plumbing / gas systems.
*Responding promptly to breakdowns.
*Ensuring that all planned maintenance work is completed on time, conforming to the standards.
*Undertaking root cause analysis.
*Assisting in the implementation of TPM.
*Refurbishment of hydraulic and electrical furnaces.
*Following Gas Safe compliance.
*Maintain and update pressure systems register.
*Assisting with improvement projects.
*Installation of equipment and infrastructure.
*Take part in FAT and SAT testing.
*Understand 5’S methodology and ensure 5’S standards are met.
*Challenge norms and status quos.
*Liaise with production on machine status and repairs.
About You
*BTEC, HNC or equivalent in Plumbing Craft.
*Gas Safe certification.
*Swagelock Qualified.
*Brazing Certified with recognised body i.e Zurich labs.
*Have followed a recognised Gas Safe apprenticeship.
*Health and Safety knowledge in an Engineering environment.
*Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
