Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to take charge of all commercial operations within the business. This pivotal role will focus on driving business growth, ensuring compliance, and cultivating strong partnerships. If you bring expertise in managing tender submissions, negotiating contracts, and developing successful commercial strategies, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee and refine commercial policies to ensure compliance and alignment with business goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and frameworks to expand market presence.
*Own the Business Unit’s sales price book, ensuring pricing strategies reflect market and operational changes.
*Oversee the management of tender submissions, ensuring competitive positioning and successful outcomes. Identify and secure positions on sector frameworks to drive consistent revenue opportunities.
*Negotiate and review contracts to protect and enhance the company’s position. Administer subcontractor processes and resolve commercial disputes efficiently.
*Manage the partner and installer programme, including accreditation and compliance. Report on contract performance and recommend improvements for cost-effective delivery. Maintain accreditation with relevant trade and industry bodies.
*Develop the commercial team’s skills in contract management and tendering. Lead the strategic use of Salesforce to maximise its impact across the Business Unit.
Essential Requirements
*Extensive experience in the management of tender submissions and complex contract negotiation.
*Strong knowledge of commercial contract law and a variety of contractual conditions.
*Degree-qualified or equivalent in a relevant field such as commercial, legal, or engineering.
*Proven ability to assess risks, deliver practical solutions, and achieve successful outcomes.
*Experience in developing pricing strategies and using commercial tools like Salesforce.
*Willing and able to travel across the UK and internationally as required.
