Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client in the joinery sector, as a CAD Technician.
About the Role: As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing ongoing projects alongside our project management team. You will also provide support to our manufacturing facility and contribute to product development. Under the guidance of our Senior Project Managers, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilise your working joinery knowledge to interpret architects’ drawings and designs.
Create proposed designs using 2D and 3D CAD applications.
Maintain project management documentation, including design drawings, order sheets, and Health & Safety requirements.
Provide feedback in internal meetings and support the Projects Department.
Enhance communication between the office and workshop.
Attend occasional site visits.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in a similar role
Familiar with CAD softwareUnderstanding of DFMA / manufacturing processes desirable.
Highly motivated individuals with great communication skills.
Team players with the ability to communicate ideas and processes effectively.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.
A clean UK driving licence is advantageous.Benefits:
