Job Description:
My client is a market leading, well established organisation who are continuing to grow and have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join their team.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical Responsibilities include:
*Respond with adherence to equipment breakdowns and PPM schedules to the required engineering standard.
*Always adhere to strong safety standards and compliance to current procedures.
*Liaise with Team Leader in respect of equipment breakdown prioritisation.
*To diagnose faults, test, repair and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery to relevant engineering standard.
*To service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner, and carry out planned, preventative and corrective maintenance to agreed schedules.
*Adhere to relevant H&S, quality, environmental and product safety procedures as well as isolation procedures, permits to work and any other legal and statutory regulations.
*Keep their working environment safe, clean and tidy and adhere to Hygiene standards, procedures and work to a "clean as you go " policy.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:Completed formal multi skilled apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering. NVQ3/C&G/ONC level.
*Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Personal Traits & Skills:
*Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to forge strong working relationships
*Highly organized, driven, and energetic, with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Positive "can-do" attitude, with a willingness to learn and go the extra mile to deliver commitments.
*Strong attention to detail, ensuring high levels of accuracy and due diligence in all processes.
