The Role
*Supporting the Sales Director to set the commercial strategy for the business
*Developing a clear understanding of margin structure within existing and new accounts:
*Tracking and advising upcoming indexation changes
*Reviewing of poor performing products (and developing action plans around them in conjunction with other departments)
*Reviewing and tracking customer cost take out (CTO)
*Reviewing and tracking margin enhancement (ME)
*Supporting the Sales Director develop a process that makes the enquiry turn around far more efficient
*Management of the input costs in all of our costing systems
*Management of price changes (daily and monthly) through the costing systems
*Day to day pricing and driving margin improvement where appropriate
*Supporting the Financial Controller with SOX compliance on order/quote changes and monthly control reports
*Ensuring that pricing in the system correlates to invoiced pricing
*Management of tenders, suggestion of pricing levels required and pulling together of commercial information to allow the business to make decisions on strategic pieces of business
*Maintenance and sending of price schedules for Customers
*Communication of indexation changes to the wider business
*Administration and support around invoicing queries
*Pulling together of commercial reports to aid the site management team.
