General Teaching Assistant Required in Blackburn!
Hourly Rate: £13.43
Location: Blackburn
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reed Education/Lancashire Teaching Agency are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Blackburn. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about contributing to the development and education of children.
The role is required for 5 days per week from 08:30-15:30 for a Year 4 class.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons.
*Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
*Work under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
*Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
*Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed.
*Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
*Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred.
*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children.
*Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
*A commitment to professional growth and development.
