Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Vehicle Wrapper to join their dynamic team. Working in an exciting, fast-paced environment, with the chance to travel overseas to various motorsport events.
You will be responsible for applying vinyl wraps to a range of racing vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that meets the high standards of both clients and the racing world.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare racing vehicles for wrapping by thoroughly cleaning and ensuring surfaces are properly prepped for vinyl application.
*Measure and cut vinyl material to fit specific vehicle dimensions, maintaining high precision.
*Apply vinyl wraps to motorsport vehicles using expert techniques to achieve a smooth, bubble-free finish, even in challenging environments.
*Collaborate closely with drivers, team managers, and our design team to understand and implement specific branding and design requirements.
*Work effectively at high-profile motorsport events, adapting to fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable conditions.
*Perform quality checks post-application to ensure that the wrap meets both company standards and client expectations.
*Maintain an organized workspace, manage tools and equipment effectively, and uphold safety protocols.
*Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and advanced wrapping techniques to continuously elevate the quality of your work.
Requirements:
*Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in vehicle wrapping.
*Strong knowledge of different types of vinyl films and application techniques.
*Ability to wrap complex shapes and curves with precision and care.
*Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
*Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
*Ability to travel overseas and work flexible hours, including weekends, during motorsport events.
*Driving Licence (required). A valid UK driving license is preferred.
