Job Description:
Laboratory Technician
*Annual Salary: Competitive (Experience Based)
*Location: North West

Join our client’s technical team as a Laboratory Technician, where you will play a crucial role in quality control, product development, and customer support. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks that ensure the high standards of their production plant outputs and contribute to innovative projects.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Coordinate all internal and external testing workload with other team members.
*Perform duties in line with agreed KPIs, ensuring all tests are arranged promptly and deviations from specifications are followed up and recorded.
*Review and verify existing testing methods to confirm their applicability.
*Maintain laboratory equipment in good working condition, ensuring timely performance of maintenance and calibration.
*Manage consumables stocks, placing orders as necessary to maintain necessary levels.
*Uphold laboratory safety standards by ensuring all necessary risk assessments are correctly followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum degree level in chemistry or chemical engineering.
*At least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally with experience in materials testing.
*Analytical thinking with the ability to collect, communicate, and report data clearly.
*Experience with ISO 9001 is advantageous.
