Duties: *Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to meet our £10 million annual revenue goal
*Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with sales, marketing, and operations for seamless service delivery
*Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing national team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
*Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving sustainable growth across emerging markets
*Build and maintain lasting relationships with key clients, leading high-value negotiations with a consultative approach
*Oversee regular reporting on team performance metrics, offering insights to enhance sales effectiveness.
About You *Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, with at least 2 years leading a regional or national team
*Proven track record in achieving and exceeding revenue targets within a competitive market environment
*Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and empower your team
*Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in analyzing market trends and data-driven decision-making
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
*Customer-focused with a talent for building long-term, trust-based client relationships
About The Company
We’re commercial, life science and heritage relocation experts, from space planning to relocations and storage to recycling. We have a specialist life science team who are used to managing lab moves, storage and distribution and a biobank and disaster recovery services at our Cambridge branch, we also have teams who are experienced in moving and storing precious museum collections. So, we make any relocation simple, smooth and straightforward.
