Our client, a reputable name in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Workshop Operative to join their team in Winchester on a temp to perm basis.
Key Responsibilities: *Product finishing, including brass polishing, chemical finishing (bronzing), and spray painting
*Assembly tasks such as assembling electronics
*Operating machining tools, such as pillar drills, lathes, and various hand tools
*Performing bonding activities, including welding and soldering
Job Requirements: *Understanding of metal finishing processes
*Experience in product assembly and operating workshop machinery
*Solid grasp of bonding techniques like welding and soldering
*Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
*Willingness to undergo training to broaden skillset
*Ability to work collaboratively with workshop team leaders and the production manager
