Job Description:
Are you an SEN specialist looking for your next challenge? Are you an ECT wanting to gain experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs? If so, Tradewind have the opportunity for you!
We are working on behalf of a Primary School in Croxteth who are looking for a HLTA to join their team on a long-term and full-time basis. You will be working within an on-site SEN provision, providing support to pupils in KS1 and lower KS2 with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the learning and development of pupils with SEN such as ASD and ADHD.
*Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
*Provide targeted support to pupils in small groups and one-to-one settings.
*Assist in the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
*Take responsibility for leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher when required.
Requirements:
*Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in education or a related field.
*Proven experience working with children with SEN.
*Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with staff, pupils, and parents.
*A commitment to fostering the values and ethos of the Catholic school environment.
