Job Description:
Basic salary: 50k-60K + bonus uncapped OTE £100K + company car, phone allowance, expenses, etc

Based in Central Manchester they provide and install a range of engineering solutions that include energy saving efficiency solutions such as, Voltage Optimisation and Power factor correction together with other renewable technologies such as Storage and EV charging stations?
The Job: UK Electrical Engineer
Responsible for the following:-
- Working with the sales team to develop new & existing relationships to generate revenue and sales in line with the company growth plans
- Delivering client power quality site surveys to determine load profile & suitability for VO supporting end - end sales process.
- Deliver quality site surveys and briefs linking both sales team & installation teams.?
- Comfortable taking responsibility for sizing/pricing incoming supply
- Providing technical support both internally and on site to customers, end users and the company’s direct sales team
- Organising and fulfilling in house training sessions/presentations
- Liaising professionally with manufacturing partners & installation partners/supply chain.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing client relationship via CRM/reporting guidelines
- Reporting to the Sales Director & General Manager.
Essential Skills must include the following:-
- Passionate about energy reduction & savings to help mitigate climate change with a desire to help customers save energy
- Technically skilled to be able to answer technical product and application queries from on site engineering team
- Top level presentation/account management skills … must be confident presenting to MD’s, FD’s & CEO’s
- Mentality to turn round site power surveys within agreed service level (3 days max). Must be analytical & be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Must possess qualifications in electrical engineering/installation
- Experience & knowledge of mains incoming distribution systems. Must be able to visit site to identify size and type of their incoming supply ,eg, would need to know the difference between a 400A 3 phase main switch feeding MCCB panel board, or 2000A ACB switchboard fed from a 1500KVA 11kv/415v Distribution transformer
- Able to identify a site’s distribution from electrical schematics/drawings
- Possess UK Driving licence (essential) as site surveys will be 75% of your workload
Desirable Skills:-
- Previous voltage optimisation experience advantageous
- Previous power factor correction experience
- Previous knowledge or experience of workings of large switchgear, ACB’s, switchboards, etc?
- Previous workings/experience in a heavy industry working environment

- Understanding and experience of power quality surveys and report writing

- standard office hours 8.30am - 5pm but hours will vary to accommodate site surveys/visits?, management of own diary

- Based from home, there may be a requirement to attend Manchester Office on a monthly basis for 2-3 days.
-Extensive travel involved, overnight hotel stays of several days at a time will be required.
