Job Description:
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm or 5-8pm evenings depending on staff availability.
Responsibilities:
*CAMHS Triage will carry out IA and a robust mental health assessment, risk assessment followed by a risk management plan on all young people and children referred to CAMHS. T
*CAMHS Triage & Assessment Clinician will be responsible/focus on clearing ONLY the triage backlog and support with duty tasks.
*The suitable candidate must have substantive CAMHS experience to work in a front door busy service.
Skills:
*CAMHS Triage & Assessment Clinician will be a nurse with appropriate professional or regulatory body (NMC).
*They will have clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental difficulties
*They will have significant experience of delivering clinically robust mental health assessment, risk assessment and management
