We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Business Studies Teacher to inspire and support KS3 and KS4 students in Blackpool. Competitive daily rates are offered, from £155 to £230, depending on your qualifications, experience, and teaching expertise.
In this role, you’ll have the chance to inspire students and help them build the knowledge or skills they need to succeed in today’s business world. You will be responsible for making lessons interactive, practical, and engaging along with encouraging them to think critically, solve problems, and embrace a business-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:
*Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
*Strong knowledge of the curriculum
*Punctual and reliable
*Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
*Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
*Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
*Set homework and mark promptly
*Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
*Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
*Respond to questioning
*Supervise and support students in laboratory experiments and research projects.

*Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
*Strong classroom management
*Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
*Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
*Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience
Personal attributes:
*You will have a genuine passion for teaching
*Experience up to key stage 3/4
*QTS/PGCE equivalent
*Be flexible and committed
