GENERAL OPERATIVE
MONDAY - THURSDAY: 07.30 - 16.30 & FRIDAY: 07.30 - 12.45
£24,375 PER ANNUM
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Workshop Operatives to join our well-established client based in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

This role is a permanent role from day one.

Day to Day Duties
• Adding fittings into vehicles, such as draws and shutters
• Adding electrical fittings and adding paintwork detail
• Use of hand and power tools to assemble and install fittings
• Use of machinery
• Working to 3D drawings
• Plastic Fabrication and working against drawings to create bodies of vehicles
Essential Skills
Essential skills needed to be a Workshop Operative are:
• Previous use of hand and power tools
• Previous use of machinery
• Ability to read 3D drawings
• Ability to measure
Desirable Experience
You would be suitable for this role if you have:
• Worked within a plastic fabrication environment previously
• Worked any of the following jobs: window fitter, shop fitter, carpenter or mechanic
Training
All training is given on the job and you will be working with a member of staff on each area until you are trained and confident to work alone.
