Freight Coordinator
Do you have freight forwarding / shipping experience & looking for your next role Are you looking to join an exciting and growing international freight company Then this could be the role for you
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish both import and exports, handling & co-ordinating international shipments via air, sea, road and courier, liaising with Shipping Lines, Airlines, Trucking and various freight suppliers.
You must be able to build good relationships with new and existing clients, plus produce the appropriate shipping documentation and provide clients with the shipment status and the correct documents when required. Also assist with other departments when required
Essential Criteria:
*Previous freight forwarding experience.
*Familiar with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Good customer services skills
*Good IT knowledge
*Positive attitude, Team player and willingness to learn.
*Full Driving Licence

Our client is an International Freight Company who are now looking to expand their team based in Southampton.
Salary & Benefits:
Our client is looking to pay a competitive salary for the right candidate in the region of £24k - £30k depending on experience, onsite parking, 29 days including bank holidays plus pension scheme.
