This is a part-time role, 2 days a week, on-site at our Cambridge office based on the Cambridge Science Park, 15 hours a week, 9 month contract.
Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance the Accounts Assistant will work in close partnership with the Finance team members and the Purchasing team.
Key responsibilities will include
*Ensure that all purchase invoices are input into the finance system in a timely manner with a particular focus around month end
*Make sure that invoices have relevant and valid purchase orders, confirming the details are correct and code ready for inputting into internal finance systems
*Ensure GRN compliance on the finance system
*Reconciliation of supplier accounts
Working Requirements: This role is part time (15 hours per week) for a period of 9 months. This role is based on-site in our Cambridge office on the Cambridge Science Park.
Requirements
Essential
*Good communication skills
*Good attention to detail
*Positive can-do attitude
*Self-starter who is highly motivated
*A Level educated or equivalent.
Desirable
*Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
*Previous experience in a junior finance position
*Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business central
