Job Title - Mechanical Design Engineer
Location - Peterborough
Salary - £30,000-£40,000
Key Responsibilities *Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and solutions.
*Create technical drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets requirements.
*Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate design proposals.
*Perform simulations, tests, and analysis to validate and optimize designs.
*Identify and troubleshoot design issues during prototyping and production phases.
*Adhere to industry standards and regulations for mechanical design.
*Keep up-to-date with advancements in mechanical engineering and apply them to design projects.
Requirements *Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
*Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in [industry].
*Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for 2D and 3D modeling.
*Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and materials.
