Job Description:
Warehouse Operative - Chessington - Until January 2025 - ASAP Start - £12.06ph
We are searching for someone that is looking to join a successful company based in Chessington and play an extremely important support role for the business which is within their Warehouse team over the busy Christmas period. If you enjoy working in fast-paced environment and have experience within a Warehouse environment, this could be the role for you.

General Responsibilities:
*Receiving deliveries
*Checking and labelling deliveries
*Locating stock
*Product assembly
*Mailroom and print room duties
*Picking and packing customer orders
*General warehouse duties
Specific Duties:
*All incoming deliveries should be signed "Unchecked". Deliveries received damaged or open should be marked "Damaged/opened/unchecked" on both the Carrier/Courier and companies copies of the delivery note. This should be signed as such by both the deliverer and receiver. Wherever possible a photograph of the damage should be taken and attached to the delivery note.
*Ensure stock to be booked into Stores reconciles to the appropriate paperwork, before updating the Sales System.
*Picking must be dealt with in date order, unless otherwise requested by the Shipping Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
*Assembling products where required. Ensuring that assembly procedures are followed, and accuracy is maintained.
*Perform mailroom duties such as printing, cutting, and inserting.
*Packing shipments, ensuring they reconcile to the packing list and invoice/barcode label.
*Clear general and recyclable waste.
*Keep work areas and walkways clear and accessible.
