Quality Control Technician *Location: Ledbury
*Contract Type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover (6 – 12 Months)
*Working Hours: Rotating Shift Pattern (06:55 – 19:00 / 18:55 – 07:00, including weekends)
Our client is a Manufacturing business based in Ledbury looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their Quality team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the manufacturing process of packaging. This position is ideal for someone with an engineering background who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Day-to-day of the role: *Conduct quality control testing on production orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
*Perform quality checks and process confirmations on active production to maintain compliance with all process parameters and requirements.
*Take responsibility for decisions related to product release to customers and guide production operators in quality-based decision-making.
*Participate actively in the internal audit process and calibrate testing equipment.
*Issue certificates of analysis (CoA) and communicate results with customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Level 3 Engineering Qualification
*Experience in a Quality control environment
*Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing
*Experience conducting audits and process checks.
*Proficient in quality investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
