Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement team and ensure the timely, cost-effective supply of materials and services. You will work closely with internal departments and global suppliers, driving cost savings, improving processes, and supporting strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
*Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value.
*Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
*Develop and track departmental KPIs to measure and improve performance.
*Drive cost-saving initiatives across the business.
*Lead and mentor the purchasing team, fostering growth and continuous improvement.
*Collaborate with teams across Planning, Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality.
*Monitor demand forecasts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
*Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
What We’re Looking For
*Qualifications: *Degree in a relevant field (preferred).
*CIPS Level 6: Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply (required).
*Experience: *10+ years in purchasing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
*Strong background in electronics manufacturing and modern procurement techniques.
*Skills: *Proven negotiation skills and a track record of cost reductions.
*Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
*Ability to coach and develop teams.
*Strong knowledge of supply chain management and lean processes.
*Understanding of "green" supply chain practices.
