What you will be doing as a Maintenance Engineer:
*General maintenance and breakdown support.
*Carry out fault finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas; Robotics, PLC’s, Electrical Control Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics and mechanical systems.
*Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities.
*Extensive liaison with supervisors/managers on shift.
*Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
*Timely response to equipment stoppages.
What you’ll need to succeed as a Maintenance Engineer:
*Previous experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer is ESSENTIAL.
*An ELECTRICAL bias is ESSENTIAL.
*Experience with pneumatic & hydraulic systems is essential.
*A recognised engineering qualification is essential.
*You will be required to do a 3 shift rotation.
*You will be happy working in a large facility and be able to prioritise your workload.
*Experience with PLC’s and HMI’s is beneficial.
