Job Spec:
Air Freight Export:
Be able to complete a job start to finish;
*Contact shippers.
*Arrange collections.
*Cut MAWB & HAWBs, displaying knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements ie operator variations,Promo references etc.
*Demonstrate negotiations with airlines for maximum margin.
*Complete Customs entries and have knowledge of slightly more complex procedure codes. (IPR, BONDED,EXPORT LICENCING etc).
*Provide quotations &understand market rates.
*High customer service levels throughout providing agents post flights,departure advice etc.
*Additional bonus qualifications - Dangerous Goods trained & Aviation Security trained up to level CO(Cargo Operative).
*Ability to provide a safety net to ensure nothing is missed.
*Adhere to a fast-paced environment with strong email management & response time.
*You will be communicating with a wide range of both external customers, agents as well as internal stakeholders, so strong and confident communication both verbal and written is a must.
Any MULTI MODAL knowledge outside of Airfreight is a bonus.
