Job Description:
K-People Europe is a recruitment consultancy specialized in Korean speaking jobs with a dedicated Korean recruitment consultant working in London since 2007.
Our client, a reputable international bank located in the heart of City of London, is looking for a Korean speaking IT Officer.
[Purpose of the Job]
(1) To oversee the day to day running of the IT department in accordance with the IT manual
(2) To ensure that all the banks systems are adequate to support its existing business.
(3) To ensure that the bank has a systems strategy to enable the support of its business in the foreseeable future.
(4) To ensure branch’s interests are properly represented in the bank systems strategy.
[Key Responsibilities]
(1) Completion of daily, monthly and other regular tasks according to the IT manual and checklists.
(2) Provide technical support for IT related systems including PCs, monitors, laptops, servers, telephony and video conferencing equipment.
(3) Assist staff with support for video conferencing systems as required.
(4) Support staff using the work from home VDI system.
(5) To maintain an ongoing list of outstanding system improvements and gain senior management approval for the prioritisation of this list.
(6) To establish a timetable for system improvements, identify resource requirements and ensure that improvements are made in accordance with the timetable.
(7) To ensure that all software is adequately tested prior to live running.
(8) Maintain IT security by ensuring that all data remains secure and that an adequate data security policy is in place, and ensure that all hardware is physically secure.
(9) Assist in the management of contracts and relationships with systems related suppliers, including payment of regular invoices.
(10) Liaise with Head Office Department responsible for the supervising of system improvements to obtain authorization and support for the task.
(11) Contribute to IT documentation and ensuring that such documentation is kept up to date and accurate.
(12) Any other necessary function of department time to time.
[Requirements]
(1) Must be fluent in both Korean & English
(2) Must have minimum 1 year of IT support experience or degree in IT/computer science if fresh graduate
(3) Advanced MS Office skills
(4) Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
(5) Excellent team player & adaptable & flexible
[Conditions]
(1) Location: City of London (Bank area)
(2) Working hours: 8:30am~4:30pm
(3) Annual leave: 23 working days in the first full calendar year and thereafter increased by one day per year into maximum of 28 working days (excluding 8 Bank/Public Holidays)
(4) Basic salary: 30~35K (depending on experience)
