Senior Fee Earner - Private Client
*Location: York, City Centre
*Job Type: Full-time

Reed are currently recruiting a Senior Private Client Fee Earner to join their client, a prestigious Legal firm located in the heart of York. As a Senior Fee Earner, you will handle a diverse caseload with a high level of autonomy, focusing on Wills, LPAs, estate administration, and trusts. You will also have the chance to expand the firm’s existing client base through your expert legal services and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a diverse caseload of Private Client work.
*Work closely with clients to understand and meet their requirements.
*Run your own files in Wills, LPAs, estate administration, and trusts while expanding the client base.
*Contribute to the firm’s business development and strategic objectives.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards and regulations.
*Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering tailored advice and solutions.
*Play a key role in running the Private Client department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Qualified solicitor or legal executive with extensive experience in Private Client (ideally 8 years PQE+ however, all candidates will be considered).
*Experience managing your own caseload in all aspects of private client work including Wills, LPAs, estates, and trusts.
*Experience dealing with high net worth caseloads, including complex estates and trusts.
*Strong client relationship management skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Commitment to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.
*Experience in property law (preferred but not essential).
*STEP membership (welcomed but not essential).
