We are seeking a dedicated GCSE Business Lecturer to join our Further Education college in South West London. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching in Business Studies to GCSE students, preparing them effectively for their examinations.
Day-to-day of the role: *Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
*Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
*Maintain discipline through effective classroom management and apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
*Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students are actively engaged.
*Provide feedback to students on their progress and help them to improve their knowledge and understanding.
*Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
*Stay updated with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *A recognised teaching qualification in the UK (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
*Experience teaching GCSE Business Studies or a related subject.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
*Familiarity with the current curriculum and examination requirements for GCSE Business Studies.
