With the large number data they have accumulated they are looking to bring in a Lead Data Engineer to join and lead the small team.
THIS ROLE
As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be…
*Line managing two data engineers
*Hands on and quite close to the code
*Building ETL pipelines
*Migrating from on prem to the cloud
*Actually, owning the ETL process while working with the migration analyst to ensure all the migrations run into the data warehouse smoothly
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Lead Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
*Experience with building Python pipelines
*Extensive SQL experience
*5 years of data engineering experience including a minimum of 3 years with cloud experience
*Using infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform)
