Job Description:
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Key stage 3 tutor in or around Cambridge to deliver individual specialist tuition to Key Stage 3 students who are currently out of education, requiring assistance with Core Subjects.
As a tutor, you will promote and support the education of children, many of these will require additional support, and perhaps even at risk of permanent exclusion. You will be required to focus on boosting progress, confidence and independence, offering structure into their daily routine. This opportunity is ideal for teachers looking to step away from the classroom, and offer more personalised lessons.
Prospero Teaching will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.
*Location - Cambridge
*Position - KS3 Tutor
*Type of work - Contract
*Start date - ASAP
*Duration / Likely Duration - Until the student is reintegrated into school.
*End date (if applicable) - Ongoing
*Contract type - Temporary
*Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
*Rate of Pay - £25 per hour through our umbrella company.
*Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session
*QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
*6 months+ experience working in a UK school
*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
