Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk looking for a role where you can thrive in a fast-paced environment? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a great Accounts Payable team, taking charge of accurate invoice processing and ensuring suppliers are paid promptly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Invoice Processing: Handle a high volume of invoices, resolving quantity and pricing queries to meet payment deadlines.
*Ownership: Manage your workload and escalate issues to senior team members when necessary.
*Supplier Relations: Reconcile accounts, address supplier queries via phone and email, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
*Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure invoices are coded correctly, VAT is applied accurately, and invoices are authorised according to company standards.
*Master Data Maintenance: Collaborate with the Master Data team to keep supplier accounts up to date.
*Problem Solving: Handle significant issues, such as final demand letters, with urgency and professionalism
Profile
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience in high-volume Accounts Payable processing.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
*Excellent communication skills for managing both internal and external queries.
*Knowledge of VAT and invoice coding is a plus.
*A proactive and solution-focused attitude.
*The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
