Job Description:
Senior Planner
Construction - Main Contracting
Location: Birmingham
Package: £70,000-£85,000, 25 days annual leave, hybrid working, generous pension, life assurance
Are you an experienced planner ready to drive impactful construction projects? As Senior Planner, you’ll work closely with our Head of Planning, Bid Directors, and Project Delivery Teams to develop and monitor comprehensive construction programs. From tender submissions and scheduling to resource allocation and on-site coordination, your expertise will keep projects on track through every phase.
You’ll play a critical role in preparing Programmes, Method Statements, and Logistics Plans, while also reviewing subcontractor schedules, analyzing project drawings, and providing reliable program data. Strong communication and a team-focused approach are essential as you support both project delivery and team development.
The company you’ll be joining are a £700m turnover main contractor who work on building projects from £5m-£150m in value across both public and private sector. This is a new region for them, however one they’re heavily investing in and that is the same for this role. There is no reason this can’t progress to head of level or director in a short time.
We’re looking for a skilled planner with a solid construction background, knowledge of industry tools, and the ability to manage complex schedules with precision and clarity.
If you’re ready to make a real impact in a flexible, supportive environment, apply today by sending your CV or calling the Randstad Birmingham office.
