Job Title: Accounts & Audit Semi Senior
Location: Leigh-on-Sea
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join our reputable firm in Leigh-on-Sea. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified with a strong background in both accounts preparation and audit assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist in the preparation of financial statements for a variety of clients.
*Participate in audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
*Work closely with senior staff to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
*Develop and maintain client relationships, addressing queries and providing support.
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures.
Requirements:
*Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
*At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and audit procedures.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
