Principal Executive Search Delivery Consultant (Remote)
Fully remote
Basic salary - £70,000 - £100,000 depending on experience. Total comp expected of in-excess of £200,000
Opportunity to support the Managing Partner who personally bills in excess of 3 million per annum.
We are a dynamic executive search firm specialising in the professional services industry.
Our focus is on delivering high-quality, Partner-level placements across technology, digital, strategy, consulting, and outsourcing.
We operate globally, working with top-tier clients to identify and secure outstanding leaders who drive organisational growth. As part of our growth strategy, we aim to sell the company, with a valuation goal of 12x profit, leveraging our executive search capabilities alongside our Occupational Psychology arm.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-energy, proactive and output-focused Principal Executive Search Consultant to join our team. The role is remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while delivering world-class executive search projects on a global scale. The successful candidate will take full accountability for the delivery of executive search assignments, managing a team consisting of one other consultant and three researchers.
This is a unique opportunity to grow with the company, with the potential to become the global lead and earn equity if key targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full Accountability for Delivery: Own end-to-end responsibility for delivering Partner- level executive search projects in technology, digital, strategy, consulting, and outsourcing sectors. Ensure projects are completed to a high standard and within set timelines.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a small team, including one other consultant and three researchers. Provide guidance, set priorities, and ensure the team is aligned with project goals. • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and hiring executives. Understand their talent needs, business challenges, and organisational culture to effectively position the search process.
• Candidate Sourcing: Utilise a combination of direct headhunting, networking, and innovative sourcing techniques to identify and attract high-calibre candidates. Leverage social media, professional networks, and databases to build a pipeline of top talent.
• Assessment and Selection: Conduct rigorous candidate assessments, including competency-based interviews. Provide detailed candidate reports and recommendations to clients. • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape within the professional services sector to provide insights that add value to clients and inform search strategies.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates throughout the search process, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and resolving any challenges that arise. • Process Improvement: Continuously refine and improve the search process to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
• Equity and Progression Opportunities: If you deliver exceptional results, you will have the opportunity to become the global lead and earn equity in the company. Key Requirements:
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in executive search, talent acquisition, or recruitment within the professional services industry. Prior experience covering Partner-level searches in technology, digital, strategy, consulting, or outsourcing is highly desirable.
• Output-Focused: Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results quickly, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes. Comfortable working in a target-driven environment. • Energy and Drive: A high-energy, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates a can-do attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional results in a proactive manner.
• Collaborative approach: Effectiveness in working across organisational boundaries to deliver integrated solutions in partnership with other colleagues, teams and business units. • Global Perspective: Experience working on international search projects, with an understanding of global markets and cross-cultural dynamics. • Self-awareness: Commitment to personal development. • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a small team to achieve project goals. • Remote Working Skills: Self-motivated and disciplined, with a track record of successfully working remotely. Able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Technology Savvy: Proficiency with recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and digital sourcing techniques. Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office 365 and social media platforms.
• Professional Services Knowledge or experience of retained exec search at Partner/C-level in relateable industry
