Assistant Care Manager
Location: Bromley, London
Duration: Initially 3 months
Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £23 umbrella an hour (£18 PAYE an hour)
Main Purpose of the Role:
Bromley Council is seeking a dedicated Assistant Care Manager to join their team to support Adults and Carers within the local community. This role involves undertaking assessments, providing practical support and information, developing support plans, and ensuring the effective delivery of services to meet the needs of individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct assessments of Adults and Carers in line with relevant legislation, policy, and procedures.
*Provide practical advice, support, and information to Adults and Carers.
*Collaborate with individuals to develop support plans and arrange/monitor the delivery of services and payments.
*Work closely with team colleagues and other professional staff to ensure that service users’ needs are effectively met.
*Monitor and review services to ensure they are delivered in a timely and appropriate manner, in line with the assessed needs.
Experience & Skills Required:
*Previous experience working within Health and Social Care, particularly with Adults and Carers.
*Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Care Act 2014, with a willingness to learn more.
*Understanding of or willingness to learn about the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation, policies, or procedures concerning Adults.
*A relevant qualification in social or health care, such as an NVQ, is preferable but not essential.
*Independent mobility, with the ability to visit various locations around the borough.
