We now have an exciting opportunity for an Air Freight Export Manager working for a global freight forwarder based out of there facility in Trafford Park
Our client is looking for an Air Freight Manager to manage a well-established air export team of 10 people

Managing a team of 10 Air Freight Exporters your role will be to lead and support your team whilst getting hands on when needed and in peak periods
You and your team will complete the full air freight export cycle, taking bookings, quotations, liasing with airlines to get best rates, arranging collections, completing export clearances. As well as completing all documentation and all administration and invoicing.

You will get involved with the recruitment, training, motivation, development and management of all air freight export personnel to achieve total customer focus.
Ensuring the optimal use of resources, both internal and external maximising cost effectiveness and maintaining service levels while continually seeking alternative methods to improve service levels.

We are looking for an experienced air freight export professional with experience in Air Freight exports gained from a freight forwarder at a senior level. You will have supervised, led or managed a small air freight team and be looking to develop and lead a larger team

You will be extremely customer focused with the ability to problem solve and make decisions in the best interest of the business and have the ability to remain focused in a pressurised work environment.

Salary £40,000 - £53,000
25 days holiday per year plus statutory 8
