PMLD TA:
Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a caring and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with PMLD. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate. This is in a lovely school near Wigan.
The Role:
*Assisting with personal care
*Working with challenging behaviours
*Building rapport with parents and staff
Position Details:
*Location: Wigan
*Position: PMLD TA
*Hours: 8:30am-4pm
*Type of Work: Temporary
*Full time/Part time: Full time only
*Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
*Start date: Jan 2025
*End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
*Relevant experience working with children
*Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
