Job Description:
Can you deliver high-quality physics lessons ensuring full coverage of the curriculum?
Are you able to create hands-on activities and experiments that help students understand concepts?
Can you create a positive and dynamic classroom environment where students feel motivated?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join our team in Burnley! You’ll inspire and engage students from KS3 to KS4, helping them develop a passion for science. Daily rates range from £155 to £230, based on your experience and skills.
In this role, you’ll inspire students to think critically, solve problems, and apply their knowledge to real-world situations. You will also assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for their exams.

Responsibilities:
*Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
*Strong knowledge of the curriculum
*Punctual and reliable
*Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
*Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
*Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
*Set homework and mark promptly
*Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
*Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
*Respond to questioning
Preferred skills:
*Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
*Strong classroom management
*Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
*Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
*Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience
Personal attributes:
*You will have a genuine passion for teaching
*Experience up to key stage 3/4
*QTS/PGCE equivalent
*Be flexible and committed
