An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to join a not-for-profit organisation in Manchester. The role requires a well-organised individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of payroll procedures and financial regulations.

This leading non for profit organisation are a highly sought after organisation to work for with an excellent reputation for staff development and retention. They are based in brand new offices and offer an excellent work place environment.
Description
The Payroll Assistant role will initially be a 3 month temporary assignment and will be full time office based in Blackley. Reporting to the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:
*Manage and process the payroll for all staff.
*Update employee salary, benefit, and personal details in the payroll system.
*Prepare and submit payroll reports to senior staff and external bodies.
*Work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records.
*Ensure all financial transactions are in accordance with financial regulations.
*Respond to payroll and finance-related queries from staff.
*Support with other finance tasks as required.
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
*Have previous experience in running weekly/monthly payroll
*Ideally have some finance/accounts experience
*Be able to consider an immediate start temporary role
*Be able to commute to Blackley office
