Nursery Nurse - Primary School
Location: Waltham Forest
Position Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

About the Role: As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and learning of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners to thrive.
Key Responsibilities: *Assist in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
*Support children’s development in key areas, including communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional skills.
*Provide one-to-one and small-group support to meet the diverse needs of children.
*Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing observations with the class teacher and parents.
*Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages independence and confidence.
*Promote the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
*Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming and well-organized classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For: *A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE, NVQ).
*Proven experience working with children in the Early Years, ideally within a school setting.
*A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development milestones.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children’s learning.
