Adult Social Care Worker
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Adult Social Care Worker to join our client’s team. As an Adult Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, well-being, and health for adults in need of support. This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of £14.41.
Job Purpose Summary:
*Assisting with the assessment and care management function to promote independence and protect individual’s rights within legislative requirements.
Main Duties of the Job:
*Supporting adults to maintain their dignity, independence, and control over their support.
*Ensuring adults enjoy their rights as active members of their communities.
*Overcoming barriers to community living and challenging negative stereotypes.
*Supporting carers and families in achieving social inclusion.
*Improving understanding and fostering positive relationships between diverse communities.
Requirements:
*Previous experience working with older people or disabled adults (paid or voluntary).
*Familiarity with working with vulnerable adults.
*Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-working skills.
*Ability to empathise with individuals experiencing social disadvantage.
*Willingness to work flexibly and use your own initiative.
