Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Therapy Services team at Warrington Hospital. This role involves delivering high-quality therapy services to patients across various acute settings, ensuring optimal recovery and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform comprehensive assessments and create individualized therapy plans for patients in acute care settings.
*Provide interventions to address physical, functional, and cognitive needs, supporting rehabilitation and recovery.
*Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and ensure timely discharge planning.
*Contribute to service improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date clinical records.
*Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, promoting independence and quality of life.
Key Requirements:
*HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
*Minimum of 6 months NHS experience in acute therapy services.
*Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
*Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
*Proactive, adaptable, and dedicated to delivering patient-centered care.
