Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support the smooth running of our client’s European offices. Join a small but innovative economic consultancy dedicated to championing fair markets and social justice through rigorous economic investigations and expert reports.
*Location: London Bridge
*Salary: Up to £45,000 pa
*Working Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, not remote
About the Role
As an Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a professional office environment and ensuring teams have the resources they need to work efficiently. This position offers the chance to gain valuable experience in operations within a dynamic consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Operations team in maintaining a professional office atmosphere.
*Manage relationships with suppliers, including ordering supplies and researching new vendors.
*Oversee contractors and ensure quality of service.
*Organize health and safety checks and coordinate training sessions.
*Assist with website and intranet updates as needed.
*Provide support for recruitment and HR matters during team absences.
*Help manage travel arrangements, diary schedules, and meeting logistics.
Key Skills and Attributes:
*2-3 years of relevant work experience as an Operations Assistant/Administrator supporting more than one team.
*Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping colleagues.
*Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong organizational skills.
*Fluent in spoken and written Spanish or Italian.
