Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Forklift Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklift trucks. As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to our clients, ensuring their equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
*Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of forklift trucks, including electric, diesel, and LPG-powered models.
*Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
*Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, understanding their needs, and explaining the work performed.
*On-Site Visits: Travel to various client locations to provide on-site support, including emergency breakdown assistance and scheduled maintenance.
*Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
*Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each job.
*Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools in the service vehicle.
*Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
*Experience: Proven experience as a forklift engineer or similar role in the material handling industry.
*Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair forklift trucks.
*Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
*Physical Fitness: Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
*IT Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic software and basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
