About the Role: We are recruiting for a well-established accountancy practice in Chelmsford, seeking an experienced and motivated Audit & Accounts Senior to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
*Leading audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the client and managing the audit team.
*Preparing financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102.
*Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing guidance and training as required.
*Managing a portfolio of clients across various sectors, ensuring that the service we provide meets the firm’s quality standards.
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
*Assisting in the development of the practice, including networking and business development activities.
Requirements:
*ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
*A minimum of three years’ experience in audit and accountancy within a practice environment.
*Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
