Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CNC Operator (Turner) to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in Glasgow.
Salary: 33.5K, with 1.5x weekdays and 1.66x weekend over-time
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 7.45am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.45am – 11.45am
Daily Duties –
*Operate, set-up, and adjust multi-axis CNC machines
*Read and interpret engineering drawings
*Ensure equipment records are updated and accurate
*De-burr castings after machining
*Preventative maintenance tasks and safety checks on machines
Candidates Requirements –
*Time-served CNC machinist or relevant qualifications
*Previous machining experience in a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment
*Driving Licence
